Our story
Who We Are
Northpost Inc. is a family owned business that has been serving the fabrication needs of our Customers for over 30 years. Our focus has always been on great customer service, honesty and providing quality metal products start to finish.
Our Founder, Don Ryan had a dream to be a one-man venture which started 1992 in his home garage, soon the business took off and in 1993 we purchased a shop in Ogilvie, Mn and Incorporated. Our Son Joe Ryan Sr. joined the business in 1994 to see continued growth and expansion in 2005 to a new 6000 square foot Ogilvie shop. In March 2007 we purchased an 18,000 square foot site in Mora, MN that allowed us to offer more services.
In 2011 Don passed the helm of the business on to his son Joe and wife Rose. Since then, Rose has served as the CEO and is the major shareholder. Joe is the President and oversees operations. Joes two sons are joining the management team as we transition into our third generation of family ownership. Together we continue to run the business with Don’s values of good customer service and providing quality metal products start to finish.
